Dressed in olive and lime, the greenest room on the ridge.
The room
Menelik takes its character from green: a canopied king bed dressed in olive African prints, leaf-green curtains filtering the afternoon light, and towels folded into swans waiting on the cover. A settee and low carved table make the room easy to live in.
In the bathroom, antique-copper fittings glow against river stone: a rain shower, a freestanding tub and a hand-painted basin. The veranda looks over the lawn to the park beyond.
